Come thru Sat. Sept 1st for an intimate event with one of the master teachers of the spoken word, rhyme poetry and rap.  Umar Bin Hassan of The Last Poet will be blessing the stage at Spirithaus Gallery with a solo set.  Also contributing will be Bay Area and Dallas TX legend , pianist Walter Earl as well as Thomas Pridgen on drums with  guests.  An invite emcee cypher to follow will add the final touches to what is setting up to be a grand wordsmith event.  Support acts include Leo Mercer Project and Najee Amaranth and The Oakland Mind.  Please come support and witness a true statesmen of the Black Arts Movement and Black Liberation Movement, and revolutionary poetry, Umar Bin Hassan , the Last Poets.
